Looks like Pittsburgh is well represented on this list. Good luck boys! Give them hell |

Hi Julie, question about whether it was perceived skating issues that resulted in Samuellsson being left off this list. He's had a fairly strong campaign this year in Edmonton (just completed a 10 game point streak and sits in top 30 in WHL scoring) and plays a very good two way game. Strong candidate for next year? |

I wonder if the Americans are ready for the total domination known as team Canada. |

Won't be that easy IMO, Russia, USA and Canada all have strong teams. |

Russia will knock them out in the semis, so no need to be |

Henrik didn't stand out at the evaluation camp in Lake Placid and I think there are just better options to fill a role on the third or fourth line, but to answer your question,yes...skating is a issue. This tournament will be on olympic ice and they're definitely looking for great skaters who can support a strong transition game. |

Russia, Canada and the USA are all in the same group so outside of the preliminaries, none of them will be able to match up again until the bronze or gold medal games. |

all depends on whether Hockey Canada selects a goaltender or a pylon with a well known name.
the kids who played in the WHL versus Russia portion of the subway series looked way better - than the inevitable pick of Subban or someone(read anyone) from the Q.

You guys have had some very good teams the last few years but this one doesnt look very deep.
Since it's a lockout year and we're sending our true 'A' team it's going to be great watching our top line of Huberdeau-RNH-Scheifele run rampant |

So nice to see you all getting along
I actually think this team is quite well rounded and therefore deep in that regard. Most of these guys were in Lake Placid and were quite effective against Finland and Sweden with no lack of offense even with changing up the lines every game. What's even more notable is that the most effective lines were the so-called checking lines. Toss in the two guys who weren't in LP, who are offensive in nature and defensively responsible and this team looks pretty good. Will the win? Who knows, but they should represent the USA very well. |
